In 2025, it may still feel relatively \u201coff the beaten path,\u201d especially in lesser-known areas, making it a great time to experience the country without overwhelming tourist crowds. Seriously, if you want to enjoy this amazing country, now is the time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With improved infrastructure (such as Saigon&#8217;s new metro system), facilities, and hotels opening up, together with an improved and more streamlined visa system in place, Vietnam is getting ready for record-breaking tourism numbers!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"685\" src=\"https:\/\/gogogovietnam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Hoi-An-bs-1024x685.jpg\" alt=\"Hoi An Ancient Town Of Veitnam At Night\" class=\"wp-image-282\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"aioseo-there-are-some-amazing-events-taking-place-in-vietnam-in-2025\">There are some amazing events taking place in Vietnam this year<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the must-experience national holidays spread throughout the year (including <strong>Tet<\/strong>, which starts in late January), there are always a number of events and concerts to catch throughout the country. It&#8217;s more a question of being there at the right time for some events, as they are often scheduled at short-notice, or only familiar to the locals. You\u2019ll find diverse cultural experiences, from the beautiful and historic <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/gogogovietnam.com\/the-10-best-things-to-see-do-in-hanoi\/\" title=\"The 10 BEST things to see &amp; do in Hanoi\">Hanoi Old Quarter<\/a><\/strong> to traditional water puppet shows and the ancient imperial city of <strong>Hue<\/strong>. And then you&#8217;ve also got the many cultural festivals and celebrations that offer an authentic experience of Vietnam\u2019s vibrant traditions, such as the <strong>Tet Festival<\/strong> (Lunar New Year), celebrated widely across the country, and the <strong>Hoi An Lantern Festival<\/strong> held monthly in the ancient town of Hoi An.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As for that history, Vietnam goes way beyond the <strong>Vietnam War<\/strong> (known as the American War in Vietnam)&#8230;Vietnam has a deep history and is home to numerous historic sites, such as the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/gogogovietnam.com\/cu-chi-tunnels-a-must-see-reminder-of-vietnams-war-torn-past\/\" title=\"Cu Chi Tunnels: a must-see reminder of Vietnam\u2019s war-torn past\">Cu Chi Tunnels<\/a><\/strong>, <strong>War Remnants Museum<\/strong>, and <strong>My Son Sanctuary<\/strong>.
