The Cu Chi Tunnels just have to be explored on any visit to Vietnam – seriously, if you’re looking to really<\/em> get an insight into the minds and souls of the Vietnamese people, the Cu Chi Tunnels are a must-do!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

We did the Cu Chi Tunnels speedboat version of the tour and can highly recommend it (read my review of the tunnels here<\/a><\/strong>)! Below are a couple of videos to give you an idea of what to expect on the ride – it’s great fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Cu Chi speedboat tour lets you feel the wind in your face, rather than you getting frustrated as you crawl through some of Vietnam’s crazy traffic on the standard ol’ tour bus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tour will pick you up at your hotel \/ accommodation in Saigon<\/a><\/strong>, take you to the dock, whizz you along Saigon River to the Cu Chi Tunnels dock, take you on a tour of the tunnels, and even wrap up your tour with a decent meal (the budget-friendly Cu Chi tours largely don’t include a meal).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, it is a bit pricier than the cheap, tour bus tours, but not that much. There are a couple of pricey speedboat options, but the one we went with was half the price, around $43. Seriously well worth it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/a>\n\n\n\n
